I am an african american boy. I need to know what the diretion to brush the hair is? The top part is front, the back part is down, what are the sides? Plz tell me in detail?

brush from down to up, it will detangle and cause a lot less damage,(this applies to males and females) and use nylon bristles for thick hair and boar bristle brushes to smooth hair. ita not necessary to buy a mason pearson, but dont spend a dolar on a cheap one either. the best brushes out there are by conair. hope i helped!:)
