Okay i'm african american my hair is kinky,coiled, or i guess you can say 'nappy'. When it's blow dryed it isn't the straightest but it isn't as tangled. I want to blow dry my hair straight with the TRESemme Products http://www.tresemme.com/heat/produc...

The Sedu is the highest rated straightener in the world,and the one that i plan to buy next.It's a really great iron for people with medium to long hair.The iron is kinda big,so it can't straighten the little hairs around your face.They did make a 1 inch version for people with short hair,and so people with long hair could put curls and waves in their hair.

I bought the Solia because i used to have short hair and needed to straighten the baby hairs around my face,but now that my hair grew longer,i can get the Sedu.Just read the reviews on Folica.com and see which one you like better.Good Luck!

But with my experience, the Sedu is definitely the best of the three and the top flat iron on the market, period. I use Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum to protect my hair %26amp; keep it shiny and soft, it works wonderfully. :)

Do NOT get CHI. my family went thru 5 CHI in 3 yrs. Chi breaks within a few months and you have to pay $35 plus shipping to get it fixed. Their warranty is worthless!
