What do you think is the best flat iron you've ever used? I have really thick african american hair and its hard to find a good flat iron. :( Im not looking for anything over ahundred dollars. If you could also post a link to it that would be great!

Well a CHI or a Ghd are the best(i hear) but i use a bedhead and it works terrific,i think sedu and solia work well too.Chis and ghds are over 100$ though,something that helps is a serum(straightening serum) before you use the straightener.DO NOT BUY CONAIR. Good luck! : )

i would suggest the hot tools professional flat iron. it is really good, works just like chi or ghd, but it is cheaper. its around 50 dollars. it has the temperature setting, so you can adjust to the one that fits your hair texture. your hair should stay straight for the whole day, maybe longer. dont get the revlon one. i had one and it broke after 4 months. the temperature wasn't hot enough and my hair kept curling up again by the end of the day.
