Split ends?

i have african american hair with split ends and breakage could someone recommend me a product under 10 dollars that could fix my problem ........also a good straightening product for when i flat iron my hair........... thank you

Split ends?

Hi, I'm african american too so I can relate to your hair texture. When I discovered split ends and breakage I used these products by Biostrand. They have a web site. It grew my hair so much. Plus, I'm not sure if you get relaxers or not but each time you get a touch up you are supposed to get your ends clipped. That will keep away split ends. Unfortunately, the Biostrand products are well over 10 bucks. For the complete hair strengthening system I paid $60 but it was well worth it and lasted for quite some time before I had to order more. I ended up with long, healthy, and very strong hair. And lastly, you want to free your hair from so much heat. Heat isn't good for african american hair and can be extremely damaging. Try giving your hair a break from the flat ironing and get your hair rodded or get a roller set. Good Luck.

Split ends?

you cant fix split ends you have to cut them off

you need to protect your hair first before you flat iron use this yhttp://www.tresemme.com/products/show_pr...

Split ends?

First of all, you have to cut your hair shorter. That is the only way to stop the split ends. Just trim off an inch or so or as far up as the split ends go and you should be fine. You could try trimming at home for free or go to a stylist. Good products include Dove shampoo and conditioner for damaged hair or herbal essences for damaged hair. I find they both work very well. And try Conair or Revlon for a flat iron brand - check for "ceramic plates" - those are better for your hair. Good luck!

Split ends?

After you cut your split ends, use a moisterizer ( I beak open a capsule of vitamin E) and aply it to the very tips of your hair, that causes the ends to stay together instead of splitting apart and keeps them in good shape it also makes your hair grow faster.

Also try taking Biotin pills for healthy hair and skin. you can find them at the GNC.

Split ends?

I use Infusium 23 it works realy good and it makes ur hair really smooth! Try it! It's only like 5 or 6 dollars. You can get it at Walmart or places like that! GOOD LUCK!!!

Split ends?

Well, sorry to tell you this, but there is no product or solution to prevent split ends. The only thing you can do is keep it trimmed every six weeks to help controll it. Try to keep your flat iron at a low temperature. Just because it goes up to high setting doesn't mean you have to use it. Try not blow dry or flat iron your hair if you don't have to. Try washing your hair at night, let it air dry, and then flat iron it in the morning. They make a protective serum to put on the hair before you style it. I don't know the name of any or how effective it is. Try going to a beauty supply to find one, like Sally's. A lot of the little beauty suply places sell cheaper products. Hope this helps

For your split ends, you need to have your hair trimmed. For the flat ironing, I suggest VO5 heat protecting and conditioning spray.
